Playstation Vita
Sony’s next generation playstation will be a portable one. The Playstation Vita or PSVita. Expected to release in early 4th quarter of 2011.
It seems to be a foregone conclusion that Vita will outdo the Nintendo 3DS in every way. The graphics are are being touted as being on par with PS3-level of graphics. The reason why this NEW Sony handheld is taking no prisoners is quite simply because of its CPU. The Processor is a 4 core ARM Cortex processor.
Power, much more power is not the only thing Sony had in mind when creating this PSP. An additional analog stick is included in this handheld thereby creating a better, more unique user experience for certain games, ie. FPSs, etc.
Also included:
– touchscreen functionality
– along with six-axis motion sensing and,
– a rear touchpad
The Vita is set to be better integrated with the PS3 and the Playstation Network. Some games, such as Wipeout, will allow Vita and PS3 players to play with each other.
The Playstation Vita PSVita Handheld will be available in two models:
